Cash for Class

We've made it even easier to earn money for your school with Cash for Class.
Same Name, Improved Program!

We believe working with schools is the best way to positively affect the youth in our community. Between September 2009 and April 2010, Spartan Stores has given back over $92,000 to local school groups through this program! Get your school signed up today and start earning!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Shop at your neighborhood Family Fare Supermarkets during specific weeks, and 2% of your purchases will go to your designated school group.
  2. Simply give the cashier your school group code* (cashiers can look up school group codes) and the 2% donation will automatically be credited to your school’s account.
  3. Earn even more for your school by telling your friends and family to shop at Family Fare Supermarkets during Cash for Class weeks too!

Many parochial school families are finding an easy way to offset their cost of tuition by using our popular TRIP program. Requiring minimal effort, this program provides a discount on gift card purchases. The discounted amount goes towards tuition. TRIP continues year round at all Family Fare Supermarkets stores. Cash for Labels

Cash for Labels is also a great way for your school or nonprofit organization to earn cash. Spartan will pay your school $20 for every 1,000 Spartan brand UPC labels that are collected and redeemed. Family Fare Supermarkets and UPromise turn your everyday grocery spending into college saving! It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Look for the "U" symbol on shelves throughout the store to start saving today!

  1. Join UPromise for free and register your credit card(s) to begin saving for college today!
  2. Shop at your Family Fare Supermarkets and purchase eligible products. Visit www.UPromise.com for a complete list of eligible products.
  3. Pay with your registered credit card and your savings will be automatically credited to your UPromise account.
